ABOUT
Autumn is a favorite season for locals and tourists visiting the city. There is an energy of fall in the air and you can spot the hottest trends on the streets of New York. A trip to the Flatiron District is a must stop destination and the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop is the perfect spot for locals to print and frame photos for home, and for visitors to hop off the double decker bus and Print their New York City souvenir photo. Creating interactive selfie stations for the fall store windows, ZenGenius combined playful props, paper craft and furniture for the backdrop, while a secondary window area continued the autumn theme with a paper craft wreath - one that perfectly frames your face for a selfie snap.

Our team hosts an in-depth discovery meeting to kick-off each creative direction project. For the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop, ZenGenius’ own Sr. Visual Merchandiser and Interior Architect, Jalpa Patel worked closely with the client to understand their goals to drive sales of photo related merchandise, increase awareness of the Fujifilm mobile app and celebrate Autumn in New York City.

Rock, paper or scissors? I’m a paper girl always! Paper is one of the most versatile materials for visual merchandising. It can be delicate and light as a feather, or converted into a load bearing structure. For this project, we used paper to replicate the fall leaves blowing in the New York autumn wind.
