Michael Akira Litzau was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin September 25, 1981. 

Always interested in the arts as a youngster, Michael decided to venture east to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design.  With a focus in printmaking, Michael graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts. 
In 2006 he obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts, printmaking focus, from The Ohio State University.  Michael has shown his artwork extensively in Columbus, throughout Ohio and nationally.  

Michael applies his attention to detail, hardworking nature and drawing skills to Zen Genius and any project ahead of him.
