Laura positions herself as a Multi-Dimensional Artist, who thrives on the creative energy of those around her. With 10+ years of experience in retail, half of which was in a leadership role, she has garnered a deep understanding of not only customer shopping habits, but also how her peers interact with the merchandise on a daily basis. Starting with Banana Republic, Laura has been a Visual Merchandiser for over 13 years. She approaches visual merchandising by taking into account brand standards, sales performance, the customer base, and current trends and utilizes these to create a cohesive and engaging shopping experience. Additionally, Laura is also a Graphic Designer with a B.F.A. from Ohio University. The style she emphasizes within her work is simple but thoughtful, with a strong sense of typography, and a keen eye for detail and precision. Her experience ranges from a small design company, to a printing company, to a research institute. For the past few years, Laura has been freelancing, and in 2016, she became the sole proprietor of her own freelance graphic design business.
