Lauren Brescia is a Chicago-based Mixed Media Artist, Prop/Floral Stylist, and Visual Merchandiser. She has over 10 years of experience in all facets of the creative industry, including art handling, sales, consulting and curation, as well as designing, fabricating, and installing custom work. She possesses a strong sense of the 3D form and a passion for styling and art direction, with color and composition as the driving force. Lauren has a B.F.A. in sculpture, along with a dabbling of industrial design expertise from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Chicago and New York, and her work has been featured on ABC 7 News, Time Out Chicago, The RedEye, The Jealous Curator, HuffPost, New York Magazine, Cool Hunting, Fusion, MTV News, Brit + Co., and Vice. Lauren’s experience creating sculptural art installations and her formative years spent performing in dance, have greatly informed her work as a prop stylist and visual merchandiser, giving her designs a whimsical feel with a twist of theatrical drama.
