Tavaries, an Atlanta native, moved to New York to pursue a career in the music industry. He created marketing campaigns and sponsorship decks for Janet Jackson’s 20 Y.O. project at Virgin Records and casted the winner of VH1’s Miss Rap Supreme. After 6 years of working in the Entertainment Industry. He found his creative lane, Visual Merchandising and Design. Tavaries has wide range of Visual Merchandising experience.  He has worked for Arhaus Furniture, Macy’s and Target. He (VisuallyHeard) has held contracts with Tiffany & Co., Lord & Taylor, Akris, and growing lists of private clients. Tavaries is an effective planner who is organized and understands the importance of prioritizing and time management.  He is a proven leader who has trained Store Executives, Sales and Sales Support, and Visual Associates on Visual Merchandising Standards.  He is acclimated in implementing Corporate Directives, Merchandising Strategy, and Stock and In-Store Marketing Management to leverage sales and increased UPT. He has an innate ability to build rapports and maintain cross-functional relationships on all levels. Tavaries is skilled in using hand tools. He is trained in propping, staging, painting, and the manipulation of different mix medias to create two and three dimensional displays and wall treatments. He enjoys forging and repurposing materials to build displays and props.

·Coordinated and executed six visual creative installations a year, including holiday décor, special events, and product launches 

·Conducted staff training including Store Management and Sales Professionals on merchandising standards, product knowledge for new product launch, and training for all merchandise categories

·Assisted with set up of the showroom for wholesale to Market Events, which included styling and placement of mannequins, merchandising, and installing vinyl on various surfaces
